Established in 1948, St. James’ is a vibrant, diverse community of faith with a rich history of service to God and our fellow man. With an average Sunday attendance of over 500, more than 1,200 active parishioners and over a million-dollar annual budget, St. James’ is the largest church in the diocese of Mississippi.
St. James’ has a healthy mix of older parishioners and young families, long-time Episcopalians and those new to the Episcopalian tradition. With a variety of liturgies (worship offerings), exceptional music, divers opportunities for outreach and lay ministry, strong children’s spiritual formation programs, and strong youth and adult spiritual formation offerings, St. James’ has something for everyone.
